Fashion Designer | M.A. in Contemporary Art and Photography
Elena Mancinelli’s journey to fashion is deeply personal. Merging her passion for contemporary art and photography and a deep commitment to sustainability, she transitioned from an urban lifestyle to an organic farm in 2003, embracing biodynamic farming and a natural way of living.
This profound shift, intensified by the birth of her first child in 2005, spurred her venture into organic textiles, addressing the scarcity of sustainable clothing options in Italy.
Elena longed to infuse the fashion industry with the love of nature and ecological integrity she valued in organic farming. Her mission extended beyond fashion, aiming to redress the industry’s polluting legacy while advocating for fair labour practices and offering consumers ethically produced, comfortable, natural fabric clothing.
